At the same time as the first Porsche took to the street, over 70 years ago, the Stuttgart marque also made its debut on the race track. The testing ground of motorsport has seen Porsche consistently push the boundaries of innovation with one goal in mind; the future of the sportscar.

Building on a record 19 overall wins in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this year sees  Porsche embark on a new, exciting chapter with its debut in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. And, in the Porsche tradition, lessons learned from motorsport will continue to be shared in the first battery electric Porsche sportscar  – the Taycan – that also launches later in 2019. One thing that is certain; as with every Porsche over the last seven decades, it will carry the soul of a true sportscar.
